This is PERFECT for the ‘My Darrling’ book soundtrack. As I stated, this is a dark story (not like the rest of my books will be, but something I wanted to try—and am very glad I did!) A normal girl finds herself falling in love with the most unlikely boy—a serial killer.
Here are the lyrics:
“Blood spills, you’re holding on with every ounce you got.
You will trade all that’s visible for what’s in your head. From the distant lands, through the years that have passed, you carried on in the moment. Fall from grace, fall from usual, you’re running out of time.
And it’s all you got, all you wanted, all you need, and you can choose where your heart feels right … .
Head down, hands at your side, you’re losing track of your old life. Can’t remember when it was innocent, fall from this world. With your eyes shut tight, live the unbearable, you play the scenes in your own mind.
Fall from grace fall, from usual, you ran out of time.
And it’s all you got, all you wanted, all you need, and you can choose where your heart feels right.
And its all you got, all you wanted, all you need, all you can do is choose. You can choose where your heart feels right.”
